I have the latest version of Photoshop (22.0.1) and just installed the next update to Gigapixel (5.3.1) running on Windows 10. All my other Topaz products appear on the Filters tab but not Gigapixel. How do I run Gigapixel inside PS?
It works differently from the other plug-ins. In Ps go to File>Automate>Gigapixel AI.
Thank you. Found it.

I have the latest Photoshop version and the latest Gigapixel version. I cannot bring Gigapixel into the photoshop filter menu. I have tried the File/Automate method in Photoshop and Gigapixel appears there but it is greyed out and inaccessible.
Hi.
You have to select an active Layer other than the Background Layer which is locked for Gigapixel to work from the File Automate Menu
In addition, if you were able to select Gigapixel from the Filter Menu because of restrictions you would be unable to Upscale your image hence, why Gigapixel is only available from the Automate Menu
Hope this helps
Hi AND-E,
Yes this has helped enormously and has fixed my problem. Don’t know why this little tid-bit of super relevant information isn’t more easily discovered within Gigapixel. In any case, I’m so very grateful for your advice.
Cheers
Hello!
After a successful installation, Gigapixel can be accessed from the File > Automate menu action when an image is open and an unlocked layer is selected.
If you do not see the option appear in the menu, follow these steps:
- Close any Adobe apps and quit any Adobe background processes
- Download and run the Gigapixel installer and choose the option to Repair
- Launch Photoshop and test the menu again to find Gigapixel
Make sure your operating system and version of Photoshop are up to date.
