Even if the Remove Noise option is not selected, Topas Photo AI always removes the slight sensor noise that appears on monochrome surfaces, even at low ISOs and in good light.
This is normal and part of photography, especially the architectural photography I do.
Photo AI always filters out this noise, even when I don’t want it to. For me, it makes the results look unnatural and ‘clinical’.
I always have to manually add some film grain afterwards.
I would like to have the option of not removing noise, either in Sharpen or in Upscale.
