You can’t judge a book by it’s cover - right? One thing I was fascinated with in Lisbon was the frequent contrast between the doors and exteriors of buildings versus the interior. Your first impression of a dwelling or establishment may be that the place in question is a dilapidated or all together questionable. But then you find you have stumbled onto a totally unexpected jewel. Delightful!
