[Please describe your issue here. Try to include logs (Help → Logging) and add screenshots if necessary.]
Usually I use Photo AI to UPSIZE photos.
However, I’ve found PhotoAI and GigaPixel ideal for DOWNSIZING, for example, to take a large photo, and scale it to 3840px wide to make a lovely desktop photo for my 4K screen.
This has worked fine until 1.2.7 PhotoAI
Either:
(a) PhotoAI will NOT allow me to type in a width; or
(b) PhotoAI WILL let me type in a width, but then won’t automatically adjust the height; or
(c) It lets me type in the width, it DOES adjust the height, it allows me to save, it actually SHOWS the new dimension when saving… but the saved photo has NOT been resized.
This is VERY frustrating!
UPSCALING still works fine.
Gigapixel 6.3.2 still allows upscale AND downscale.
Steps to reproduce issue:
- Step 1
Load photo to downscale - Step 2
try to alter dimensions in PhotoAI - Step 3
Click on save.
New dimensions are shown: - Step 4
View new image. Dimensions have NOT changed from original
I’ve included request log files, and sample photo, and screenshots of save dialog, and output image thumbnail showing size has not changed.

Please help! I love using the downsizing as well as upsizing!
Thank you!
