Photo AI's denoise ruins my image

I have been checking posts to find out more about this issue, but the community forum is not user friendly! When I use photo ai- through photoshop- the denoise feature literally destroys my image. It goes B&W and weird pixelated, almost looks like a janky half tone image. I have deleted the program with a clean install, check every setting I know, and tried from various inputs to correct the issue. No avail- I mostly use Topaz ai for the denoise feature and it has been useless for the past month. --------

include your hardware (mac vs pc have different issues, rtx 5k cards have their own set), os & driver versions, some screenshots, whether the problem persists running standalone or just through photoshop, and input format (camera/jpg v raw/etc.)

Hello,

There is a known issue where Denoise will produce artifacts when the strenght value is set to 1.

Here are the steps to fix this (If it’s your case)

  1. Change the value if the strength in Denoise to any other values than 1
  2. In the Photo AI settings, reset the personalization so this value is not suggested for future images.
