Hi. topaz AI was working but suddenly stopped. I am asked to activate but connection error message apppears.

i have a similar issue. previously this has worked fine., however i go to use the software today, and its asking me to activate again? i click activate, and it fires up an internet window. then times out after roughly 1 minute. no way to activate currently, and no other issues with internet or machine. the statement on some of the forums stating to disable firewall, antivirus and vpn, are not valid and shouldnt be expected. security is paramount these days. if the software doesnt work with professional antivirus products then it isnt fit for purpose. or the issue is somewhere else.
