Without a brush tool to accurately identify the subject this tool application is of limited value to me. I find myself frequently going to Denoise or Sharpen when I need real control.

Completely agree. The current brush symbol incorporated in the refine tool is worthless. The KISS principle would go a long way in their development changes going forward.
Yep, need much more manual brush control for tricky selections. AI is great but sometimes it just can’t get there on things that I could quickly do manually.
