I am using Topaz Photo AI as a filter in Photoshop CC on a MacBook Pro with M1 chip, 16 GB memory, and plenty of available storage. Every time I invoke the Photo AI filter, Topaz Photo AI launches and then I get a screen that says, “Downloading Models. Some model files need to be re-downloaded before images can be processed.” This “re-download” takes SIX MINUTES for every photo. The same does NOT happen when I open the photo directly in the Topaz Photo AI software, however doing that complicates my post-processing. Do you have a fix for this?
Have you tried disable “In-App Model Download” in Perference ?

Where can I find this “In-App Model Download” ? Preferences where?
You can find the “In-App Model Download” option in Preferences > General, in this window you will want to scroll down and you should see the option to Enable In-App Model Downloads
