Photo AI 3.0.2 UI so slow it's unusable

I’ve been trying to use TPAI 3 for a while now, but each version I’ve tried has been diabolically slow. TPAI 2 was fine.

Topaz Photo AI v3.0.0, v3.0.1 and currently v3.0.2 on Windows.

I suspect part of the problem is that I’m using a 4K monitor, and large images (61MP). I’m using it within Photoshop as a plugin, but the UI is similarly unusably slow in standalone mode.

The UI is much more responsive with smaller images, but I didn’t have this issue with TPAI v2.x.

Windows 10 Home 64-bit v22H2 (OS Build 19045.4412)
Intel Core i7-10700F, 16GB RAM
Asus nVidia 2060 RTX
Samsung SSD980Pro boot, a pair of Toshiba 13TB spinning rust as image drives.

IMHO - the CPU, GPU and the amount memory together are marginal for a 4K monitor together with large image files. The changes in V3 are obviously too much resource wise for your PC. Maybe try changing the AI processor settings under preferences. Otherwise you might have to stay on V2.x.x with your PC as it is.
