Photo AI 2.0.0 does not open properly or function

Photo AI does not load image and locks up since latest update. MacBook Pro, macOS Ventura 13.5.2

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Impor photos either from Lightroom using bart right-clicking and Edit with, by using File->Plug in Extras, or just by dragging images into the app. Doesn’t matter.
  2. Photo AI opens, shows image preview icons along the bottom, but all are empty and black, and likewise the edit screen is black. None of the controls function and I have to close the app. Deleting and reinstalling did not resolve the issue.

Tried finding log files but no luck, so some help locating them would be useful.
