Photo AI 1.4.0 creating artifacts on DNG which show up in Capture One 23 and Affinity Photo 2.0

I use the 1,4,0 update to denoise and sharpen my Sony ARW from my a7RV and output a DNG. Opening that DNG in Affinity Photo 2 reveals a large band of weird color on the left side with less noticeable thinner dark bands towards the bottom of the frame. Same thing when opening that DNG in Sony Express Capture One 23. The strange thing is that the new update to Photo AI works perfectly on some of the raws in the same group of photos. Edit: I have now found that these same artifacts show on tif and jpg outputted files. Is there a problem with my GPU?

Thanks for reaching out. The purple line is an artifact with the Raw Remove Noise model.

To avoid this, please process a second time. This time, switch the Remove Noise model to the other model (Strong if it started with Normal or vice versa).

The artifact is dependent on the input file and will show in whatever output file type you pick.

We are working on updated Raw Remove Noise models which should prevent this in the future.
