On a whim, I returned to a place where a couple years ago I was able to get a great shot (Canon 7D, 200 mm prime) of a Black-crowned Night Heron. To my complete and delighted surprise, there was another bird in the exact same spot. And I’m wondering, could be the same bird? This time, however, all I had was my trusty Canon PowerShot G7x. There’s a really good chance I’ll be passing by there again next weekend and I’m thinking I’ll be taking the 7D so I can get a bit closer.
