Are you using Topaz Studio other than the frame? I like the brush work, very painterly
Hi Ricci. I’m using a set of Edward Munch brushes within Photoshop. I used a framing action I found online years ago, can’t remember where I found it. I use both Topaz Studio and Topaz Plugins for a small bit of detail and clarity and minor tweaks in color. I love the latitude this combination of tools provides. The more I do this the more I want to learn how to paint, for real, with both oils and watercolors. But then I kind of like not having the mess to clean up, along with Cntrl-Z.
I am an old traditional artist that converted to digital painting using Corel Painter. There are some great classes that you can take to learn how to paint digitally from the Digital Art Academy, I’m been taking them for years. Wow! Very impressive work. I especially enjoyed your portrait efforts. Taking a shot at The Girl with the Pearl Earring was bold and well done. I like it. And thanks for the Digital Art Academy recommendation. I will investigate.
They’re fabulous- thanks for sharing!
Fantastic work Raquel. I also use Corel Painter 2018 but only occasionally.
Hi Ron, Your work in Flicker is fabulous, I really enjoyed looking at it.
I also have two of my painting in Painter 2018 Gallery in the Welcome window at the startup. You might want to check it out.
Did you know that you can import Photoshop brushes into Painter? Check out Skip Allen and Karen Bonaker they are Master Elite, excellent teachers at the Digital Art Academy
Thank you Tony for the encouragement.
