Once the noise reduction and sharpening parameters have been applied, it gives me information on the size of the file, both of the original (input) and the resulting one (Output) and my doubt is that without having modified the resolution, the input sizes and output are very different, and even more, in the application it gives me information about the size of the file and then in the file explorer the size is different, I am attaching screenshots with this data.
The file “023 Checkerboard of imperial 2.4 years” according to image 1, originally has a size of 4.6 MB, in the application it informs that the output file will have a size of 4.3 (it already reduces 0.3 MB ), but what surprises me the most is that the file that it generates actually weighs 1.4 MB according to image 2, which is 3.1 MB less than the original.
Wouldn’t it be logical that if I didn’t change the resolution, the source and output sizes would be very similar?

My team has done research on JPG quality to reach this conclusion. Even 95% will have significant file size reduction compared to 100%.
In short, the file size is smaller but the quality will be the same. When using the plugin, the JPG quality setting cannot be changed. If you use stand alone, then you can alter the export settings to increase the file size.
Hola Miguel, también quería agregar que estamos investigando la parte real de la ‘discrepancia’ entre los tamaños de archivo estimados y los tamaños que realmente se muestran en la ventana del buscador. Estimar los tamaños de los archivos antes de que se ejecute el modelo es un poco difícil, ¡pero el grado en que las estimaciones están fuera de lugar es bastante grande aquí!
