OPEN app - Drag & Drop?

Before an update, it was very fast and convenient, I was just opening the app, dragging and dropping the video file, quickly upscaling then bringing it back to Premiere Pro, now every time I open the app, I instantly go to the previous project (previous video file), that I don’t even need anymore, then I have to close project, then create new project, name the file, then drag and drop, it take way more time and actions to do a simple task, is there any way to set the the app so it will work like in previous version, so we’ll have and option to quickly open the app and just drag and drop? If there is no such an option right now, please add this, so some of us who always in a hurry can change this setting in preferences.

what is the point of naming the file when you create a project, if you still need to name a file when you export?

When opening the app you can clear that previous file and stay in that same project if you wish. The other option is to close and clear the file before closing the app and then when the app launches it should be in that same project file without any clips loaded.

Will pass along this feedback to the team for their review on trying to make this workflow faster and cleaner in the future.

This new projects system is awful. All the things I actually need are folded up in seemingly random places and it takes 5x the number of clicks to get anything done. I should be able to just open topaz, drop some clips in, set how I want to process it, and run it.

This used to all be on one screen. Now it expects me to save a project before I can do anything, and it puts all the files, previewing, processing, and exporting on different screens for no reason.

Just setup and use one project, that allows drag and drop.

That’s just making a dummy project. It’s not the same thing. I shouldn’t have to do that.
