Only 10 images transfer from LRC during Batch Processing

I though I sent 40 photos to AI, however, one 1 occasion it read 19 and on another 20. The issue for me is when completed in ai i am back in LRC without knowing which photos it processed on either occasion. What is the limit and why?

Different people seem to have different limits. Iā€™ve been able to reliably process 20 at a time (and just now, got 21). Some people seem to be stuck at 10. I suggest that you try 21 at a time to see how that goes. I think Topaz is working on it but havenā€™t heard anything from them in a couple of weeks.

When I use Topaz, a lot of my images are not processing back to Lightroom. Please help?

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2
  3. Step 3

Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac]

Thereā€™s another thread that seems similar at Only 10 images transfer from LRC during Batch Processing - #42 by david.gottschlich.
We try to send many files from Lightroom to Photo AI but a maximum of about 23 are all that get processed (the last 23 in the batch). For me, 23 is the maximum but others seem to get different numbers. Up until the last two versions of Photo AI (maybe three?), I could send hundreds at a time.

Since upgrading to Photo AI 3.01, my workflow has been totally disrupted. I used to be able to send 50+ images to Topaz photo AI via the plug-in, but now if I send more than 10, Topaz only processes the last two, and when it sends them back to LRC, it loses Camera Info (Nikon D750 and D780 so not exactly new) if it sends anything. More often than not, I get an error in LRC about a bad file.

Topaz Photo AI [v3.0.1] on Windows]

From Lightroom select a number of files, eg 63, to be processed with Photo AI but only 10 of these are processed and saved back to the same dir they originally came from.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Select the images in Lightroom.
  2. Select: Plug-in Extra/Process with Topas Photo AI

In Photo AI is only 10 out of 36 selected images shown and after processing back to basic dir.

Topaz Photo AI [v3.0.1] on [Windows 10]

The latest update (3.02) is, if anything, a step back. I could handle 23 pictures per batch yesterday but only 14 or so today.

I can still only have 10 with 3.0.2.

Iā€™m having the same issue, but if I start Photo AI and drag my RAW images into it everything works perfectly. Not ideal, but it works until this issue is resolved.

[Please describe your issue here. Try to include logs (Help ā†’ Logging) and add screenshots if necessary.]

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1 start program
  2. Step 2 import 1100 photos
  3. Step 3 crash after 10

  1. Open a new Catalog in Lightroom add a folder inclusive 144 photos
  2. Select all in Lightroom and send to Topaz as plug in
  3. Topaz windows opens and choose only 10 random selected pictures of my 144 pictures.
Just before Update there was no issue. I was able to see all 144 photos together in Topaz tab below

You might want to look at Only 10 images transfer from LRC during Batch Processing - #51 by topaz-2721. Itā€™s your problem, and itā€™s existed for going on two months now.

Using Topaz Photo AI latest update as plugin for lightroom classic. Can only run 10 images at a time. Once upon a time I could run dozens.

Did you ever receive a reply for this issue? The same thing is happening to me.
Post update Iā€™m maxed out at 5 images being transferred to Photo AI from LRC.

I never received a reply
12 seems to be a magic number. If I move more than that things get funky.

Do we have the miracle? I just installed the latest version (3.0.3), and it accepted 33 photosā€“all that I sentā€“from Lightroom Classic (Windows version) for processing! Previously, it was only taking 22.

This issue was resolved for Windows users with the most recent update to v3.0.3!

You can download the installer from our Topaz Labs Download Page or use your in-app update option!

For MacOS users we are still working on a few bugs but the batch processing capabilities for the Lightroom Classic plugin has been working on some machines. If you experience a problem you may need to close the application and retry processing your images.
