I notice that I have tried to follow the lead of other contributors by not start a new topic.

As a result, my contributions on User Performance Benchmarking have gotten spread around. A situation of my own making.

It was helpful that this:

got merged into this:

> It would be very helpful if we also had the possibility to perform user benchmarks in TPAI as in TVAI. There are benchmarks on the Internet, but only with the latest hardware and only for one OS platform (Mac OR Windows) and not cross-platform. With the benchmarks of all participating TPAI users you have a good overview of the performance of your own computer, and it also helps in the selection and purchase of new hardware! I would be happy if I am not the only one who requests this feature a…

Which leaves closely related posts also on Benchmarking in various places, three of which are up for votes, but for all-intents-and-purposes they are the same as the merged topic above. Those are:

> david.123 you raise an excellent point, "benchmark data to be optionally submitted anonymously to Topaz ". I have now substituted aliases for user names. and will continued to do so. If having a user name is somehow beneficial to a discussion, I will make it my policy to ask their permission ahead of time. Just the Golden Rule…“Do unto others…” While everything is based on information accessible in T-Com, it just isn’t right if even one person objects. It isn’t just that a user’s machine gets…

It might not be 100% exact for the own case with other input, but at least it gives a general idea about the performance on a certain platform. There are many tests from different users, so one can also get a feeling for the precision of the test. I think it would be a good idea to get something similar in Gigapixel as well. I’m actually just asking myself whether to invest another $1200 to buy a TX 5090…

Just for the moment, I think my best course of action is to hold back posting any more as it is leading to a fragmentation of the topic across multiple threads. It’s redundant and not helping the community.

If I have something new and interesting to add in a few months I won’t hesitate to share. And…I will try to shorten the posts. ;-\>
