Just a thought, but as I am working with TS2, I feel like we need an Ok, Done, Accept icon for filter and mask modifications. Something to indicate that the changes we are making are complete. I know that I can just click on another filter layer and it saves the changes, but it feels like an incomplete process. And clicking on the x makes me feel like I am canceling my changes.

Like you, I know that clicking the “x” just closes the expanded toolkit/tool controls view. But I’d personally rather have words that say, “Accept/Close Controls” that when clicked on (like a button) perform those requested actions. It would be more intuitive. And, not phreak users out that after making a bunch of edits they’re going to lose them all…
