Noise reduction creates big blob in photo

When I utilize noise reduction during several of my astrophotography photos it creates a big dark blob over one of the stars (directly above the church steeple.

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. utilize photoAI
2. noise reduction strength and minor deblur set very low
3. The higher the noise reduction, the greater the size and darkness of the blob…directly above the church…
