Please is there a way to give us the option to not have a pop-up every time you open the program?

You’ll need to roll back to 7.1.3 to have the snooze option on the update.
That said, the 7.1.3 version has some slow model loading bugs, so I would recommend 7.1.0.

The 7.1.4 and 7.1.5 versions only include backend updates to prepare the for Topaz Video launch, so there are no functionality updates you are losing by rolling back.
