No image visisble in DeNoise AI, Sharpen AI, or Photo AI

Quite strangely, when I open either of DeNoise AI, Sharpen AI, or Photo AI from the latest Photoshop version, the image I’m working on is not visible.

DeNoise AI and Sharpen AI were fine and in use today, until that is I managed to update Photo AI an hour ago. I say ‘managed’ because I attempted to do an update several times in the past couple of weeks, then today I saw that there were now 2 updates. Well, that didn’t work out too good for me!

I haven’t changed any of my software settings at all, and have an ASUS A15 machine with 64GB of memory and a 3.2 GHz AMD Ryzen 7 processor, plus a 2047 MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, and a 2TB SSD.

I’m puzzled. Any ideas of how to resolve this issue please?! Thank you.

Are the images visible if you use them as standalone?

As you only have 2GB for your GPU that may be the issue as PS is the host. Also check your driver’s are up to date (Studio) from the NVIDIA website.

I thought that gpu was 8 or 12gb?

That wasn’t what he wrote.

OK I see he has used mb, missed that, I was looking for gb.

Should still work, I was running it just on the cpu, on previous versions, it was just slower.

I thank you all for your responses and suggestions.

I updated everything I could via device manager - I have Win 11 Home - but the problem persisted until . . . .

The image I was working on was a PSD file when the ‘no image’ issue surfaced. When comparing Sharpen AI, DeNoise AI and Photo AI I create an extra layer for each as this method makes it easier to compare the results.

I’m certain I’ve been able to process each layer separately in the past, but that method ceased to function a couple of days ago. ‘Flat’ files such as jpegs are fine of course.

It’s good to know what the issue is, but the ‘why’ bothers me. Is it a Topaz issue, or something on my end? It’s odd considering that I was able to process layers individually in the past!

I thank you again for your suggestions.

Yes you could process each layer in the past.

That is how I work, every process is on a separate layer, then can compare or change opacity, blend etc.

Not used the latest version as been busy.

Will try tomorrow. The update will only affect PAI.
