I reported this issue 2 years ago but nothing has changed. Why is it not possible to use Topaz on very high resolution video (8k+) ? It doesn’t matter what model I use, there is no effect, even with extreme settings to force any visible change.
Do you have a sample or screenshots that you can share to help showcase what you are seeing?
I just ran a test with a 6k video file running the settings below and can see reduced noise in the preview.
Depending on the source file, the models might not be detecting anything that needs correcting when in 8k resolution scale. Typically an 8k file is not what most users are loading in for the files to correct and enhance.
you are right, I was obviously not patiently enough - the viewer didn’t update showing the results despite the bar being bright green, but eventually it did update. Sorry, Case closed
