No audio in the output file?

I am using the latest Topaz Video AI v333.

I could not hear any audio in the output file or preview file. The message is shown “Audio options are disabled because the selected input is an Image Sequence”. I don’t know how to set the selected input. The Video input shows [In] 720x480 (0.89:1 SAR) @ 29.97 FPS. The input file is the old MPG file that can be played with audio using MS Media Player.

Hi James, I believe you and I are working on this via email, however, you would need to choose a video option instead of an image sequence for the output.

I also encountered the same problem, heck, it doesn’t matter which version I change, the exported video always has no sound!

Does your source file actually have sound ?

It is a bug. I found that if you set the audio setting as Convert instead of Copy, it may work.

Menditra, of course. That’s the first thing I checked.

Yes, video files in MP4 format

Then it would not be a bug, this would be because the audio file was not supported by your media player. The converted version works because it is using a video stream supported by the player.

Which media player are you using?

I am currently using PotPlayer 64 bit

Ida, This is a bug. Using Microsoft Media Player, the input file has audio but the output file processed by Topaz has no audio. It is better your engineers fix it.

Using “Convert” is just a work-around.

I use “convert” and there is no sound. . .

Want to show what the input file actually is ?
Try using mediainfo so we have more to go on.

As in the title, the original video can hear the sound in the player, but there is no sound after exporting. The log is below, can I send you the original video?
logsForSupport.tar.gz (152.2 KB)

This is the screenshot of the selected settings and the system configuration file. You can see that the input is an image sequence. Is this the format of the video that is not supported?

DxDiag.txt (114.5 KB)

You have imported images you wont have any audio.
Thats not a bug.

I imported the video, as shown in the picture

This is because the host media player you are using does not support the encoding of the file that was originally exported from TVAI.

Do you happen to have the VLC player on your computer? If you are certain this is not the case, please share the input and output files and I will dig in right away. Thank you!

There is no audio when exporting an image sequence, even if video is chosen for the export. If you are also having this issue with a video file, please post the file or share it with me via dropbox.

It is true that the exported video has no audio… I use mediainfo to see that the exported video has no audio track. So I sent a Japanese tokusho drama as an example, and the video after exporting and previewing it will be sent to you.
