Hi - just installed the new update 2.2.2 and all OK until Photo AI decides an image needs upscaling. I get an error message “Error Running Model” I clicked on “Read More” and my computer is well cabable of handling the program. I have had no problem prior to installing the update. I cannot use Photo AI on any image that needs upscaling
Why do they need upscaling? Are they very small?
Why not just deselect upscale?
I deselect everything on PAI, as the AutoPilot settings are rarely the best.
Well, yes!! The program saw that they were only small and implemented upscaling. Old shots from point and shoot that needed upscaling. Yes, maybe I could swith it off and carry on with the small image but this is defeating the object. This all worked fine befoe the update and we shouldn’t have to switch it off because it now doesn’t work
My post was to point out that there is a problem with 2.2.2 that wasn’t there before
I’d check that in-app downloads are enabled first, then restart TPAI if you have to enable it, just to be sure that no models need downloading. On my system (Win 10 pc where 2.2.2 is working fine) the model directory contains 125 files (12.2GB).
If that doesn’t help then uninstall and reinstall. Without more info, it’s hard to make any other suggestions.
Thank you. I had the in-app downloads enabled. After a restart it seems to be OK now…fingers crossed and thanks for your suggestions and help - appreciated
