Just got this program. I was wondering what would be the fastest settings for upscaling videos. My pc has a Ryzen 7 5800X and a Nvidia 3070. What would the best ai model/video type/output/etc settings? First video I tried is an 11 minute 720p 30 fps video. As of this writing, its 30 percent done and approximately and 1 hour 45 minutes til completion, converting it to 1080p 60 fps. If this how long it takes for a 11 minute video, I shudder to think of how long it will take longer higher quality videos. Any tips and advice are welcome.
Make a test video video of 30 seconds in length and use to find the best setting.
Every will need diff settings.
Use Chronos (Not Chronos Fast) instead of Apollo.
If you run the interpolation before upscaling, it’s much faster, but more artifacts become more noticeable.
With a 720p source, try out the Artemis models. They’re fastest. Lower than 720p source, Proteus Manual is usually better, just a lot more work tuning the settings.
I see. How do I run interpolation?
In the GUI, change the frame rate. It will automatically select Apollo or Chronos.
