New Photo AI update won't open .tiff saved in Capture One

With the most recent update (Mac 2.0.3) when I try to open a file saved as a .tiff in Capture One, the file names are greyed out and can’t be selected. See screenshot. There have been no updates to C1 and I have not changed my .tiff export settings.

Topaz Photo AI [v2.0.3] on [Mac]

Go to the file and folder access in Mac Settings and make sure Photo AI has access to your desktop. Instructions in this apple link:

I checked folder access for both Photo AI and C1, and both have access to the desktop. Interestingly, I just discovered that when I click on Browse Images and it opens my Desktop Folder, the images are not there if I scroll down through the whole list. I had to type them in the search box on the screenshot to get them to come up, but I could not open them. I verified in C1 that the export file location was correct.
Edit: .tiff files created before the last update do show up in the list, and are able to be opened.

If I go into Finder and search for the file, then right click and select Get Info, it shows me the correct folder. I’m confused! Thanks for your help!

Edit: I just tested in Luminar Neo. Files also do not show up, but if I search for them they are able to be opened.

I’m not exactly sure what could be happening here. @AiDon do you have any further insights?

I believe there have been ongoing issues with Finder/Desktop for many years where it doesn’t show recent files unless you reload the finder by doing a Force Quit first.

There are lots of posts on the internet about this situation on the Mac Desktop/Finder and most point to either Force Quit and restart finder, delete the Finder PLIST file or even rebuild the Spotlight index.

I will give that a try. Thank you so much for your time!!!
