New MacBook Pro 14" M3 updated iOS

Hello, I purchased a new MacBook Pro at the beginning of January with M3 processor. I used Photo AI and it was so much faster and awesome to work with. Instead of 6-8 minutes rendering time with my old 2017 MacBook Pro it was taking under 15 seconds. I updated my iOS last week, and now it takes about a minute to download a photo from LRC into Photo AI. And the buttons are not working in Photo AI. I am using Topaz 2.3.0. I’m stumped as to how to solve this problem. Don’t know if it’s the iOS update or the Photo AI update.

Thank you!

After you have done this, disable any antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy software that might be active on your computer. These tools are sometimes known to interfere with the installer’s ability to download the model files.

Please also ensure that the Topaz Photo AI installer has all the proper settings in your system by going to your Mac System Settings > Privacy & Security tab and scrolling down to the security section. You will want to make sure you have 'App Store and identified developers ’ selected. Here is a video example:

Finally, rerun the installer. You can download a new installer from the downloads page directly :

Let me know how that goes for you and I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

Thank you John for sending the instructions. I had a problem after I updated my iOS in late January. I communicated with you in late January and you were able to help me fix the problem at that time. I did update Topaz PAI over the weekend to 2.3.2 and have not had any problems. I have not updated my iOS on my MacBook Pro 14” M3 yet. The update is Sonoma 14.3.1. So should I wait to update my computer?
