It took almost 4 hours to download and update Version 2.1.4 It would be most helpful to know if an update is going to be a complete reinstall in order to plan when it would be better to run it, like after midnight.
You must have very slow internet. Mine took 45 minutes and my internet is not that fast.
Mine took about 4 minutes.
When I get the usual updates, it doesn’t take very long to run. In this case, it was a full uninstall and reinstall of which I was not notified.
Fair point, they could put a warning on it.
Don’t know why Topaz PAI takes so long, there is not very much on there.
On the download it does say the file size. 2.2 I’m doing now, taking about 2 mins to download, at 3mb/sec. The install took about the same time.
It would useful if Topaz gave an estimate time, as Nvidia and Adobe do.
