I bought Topaz ai and have used it regularly. I recently found it had updated itself to v3 and was demanding $199 for me to continue using it! I am a pensioner and that is a lot of money.
I actually would just prefer to go on using the old product but dont seem to have an option?
I’ve never seen the program update itself. It has always required user input to do that.
Having said that, if you had a valid copy that was working before the update, then you should be able to roll back to that version and keep using it without paying for any updates.
Check your user account, or contact customer service to see which version you still own.
