My computer shuts down completely when I used topaz lab

Hello. I bought the Topaz Lab license from you. I installed it. But as soon as I start any operation after 5 minutes of video processing (export), my computer shuts down completely, as if there was no more electrical current. It’s been 3 times I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the software, and it does this to me every time. I absolutely cannot use your software. Still, I have a powerful editing station. What to do?

TVAI will stress your computer.
First I suggest you download HWINFO64 to monitor various system information.
Secondly download CPU-Z and goto the Bench tab then click on Stress CPU.
My 5950X can run all day long at 100% cpu load @85C
The core voltage on most motherboards is way too high @ 1.45V, I’ve dropped mine down to 1.25V
Run the above test to see if the cpu is not the problem.

Also what brand of power supply and wattage do you have and what GPU ?

99% chance your PSU is not adequate.

Sounds like a temperature and/or power issue to me!

I have a MacBook Pro that runs on MacOS Catalina 10.15.6.
I get frequent upgrade notifications but they don’t provide “minimum system requirements.” The last time I upgraded I could not run Topaz. Now I’m afraid to upgrade.

Recommend including “minimum system requirements”. with Topaz upgrade notifications. Thx

It’s all available here: System Requirements | Topaz Video AI

The onus is on you to ensure you meet the requirements - not on Topaz.

thank you everyone. My problem was the power supply of my computer. I went from 750 watts to 1000 watts and now everything works perfectly. THANKS
