Multiple selections of photos.... well... not working

Ever since the last update I cannot select and edit more than one photo at a time. When I do, the photos becomes just a bunch of colorful lines.

One photo at a time works but not multiple selections.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Enter lightroom
  2. Select multiple photos
  3. Select Topaz AI via the file / plug-in extras / topaz photo ai option
