I’m not sure where to post this because it happens on both photo PAI and VAI, but using my mouse wheel to scroll up and down menu options on the right side feels “tricky” in that the menu either moves too slow when I roll gently…then totally overshoots what I want when I try to scroll a little faster.
I seem to lack whatever skill is required for intuitive scrolling and stopping on what I want in Topaz software, yet, I can do the same task effortlessly in any other program I use. (Scrolling through news stories in Edge or Chrome, scrolling through files in explorer, settings in video game menus etc.)
For lack of a better way to put it, my experience scrolling in other software feels “dampened” in a way that makes speeding up, slowing down, or stopping feel easily predictable. I have an idea how far I want to scroll and intuitively can flick the wheel and scroll approximately as far as intended.
In Topaz software, it’s more of a struggle:
I want to scroll up. [Flick] No stop! Missed it. Scroll back down. Not that far! Okay…gently scroll the wheel…slowly…gently… finally…that’s the item I want.
It’s a small little quality of life thing, but I would greatly appreciate it if Topaz software scrolled as intuitively as all the other software I have interacted with.
