Hello Everyone, this image was taken in the summer of 2011 at Rocky Mtn NP; kind of a long wait it had to be processed. It was a morning hike to Black Lake and just as the moon was setting, the sun was rising and beginning to light up the ridge below McHenrys Peak. Basic processing in LR, B&W Effects for conversion, followed by some more tweaks in LR.
I was keeping an eye on the moon all along the hike to Black Lake, hoping I’d get there before it set behind the ridge. We did with a bit of time to spare, so I was able to take my time shooting.
