Montana is definitely a great area for exceptional scenery. Though I live in south central Montana (Billings) I’m within one hour of the Beartooth Mountains or the Great Plains. Glacier Park is an 8-hour trip and is only open about 3-1/2 months a year due to major snow events at high altitude and only one road through the Park.
