Lumix FZ1000 RW2 files not rendering accurately

If I render in a side-by-side comparison a camera JPG image along side the equivalent image captured as a RW2 file I am getting significantly different results

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. I am including both file samples (as attached) so that the tester can make the proper comparison between the 2 renderings in question.
  2. Note that I have disabled all settings in Topaz AI except noise reduction.
  3. Note also by comparing both the JPG and RW2 renderings the RW2 image has disappeared the letter “Á” from the blue wall projection.
  4. The edges in the RW2 rendering also appear harsh and unnatural.

Thank you for sending the file. I tested it and was able to reproduce the issues you are describing.

The A missing from the image is very odd behavior. I reported that to my team.

The lens correction issue and the lines appearing jagged are both known issues that we are working on fixing.

For now, the best workaround is to convert the Raw to a TIFF or JPG or use the Photo > Edit in > Topaz Photo AI workflow in Lightroom Classic.
