I’ve upscaled a Video with an uncompressed wav sound, when I open the VEAI upscaled video in media player classic and look in the Media Info, it says AAC, but only with 96kbps.
Why is the bitrate set so low from VEAI or is the information from mpc wrong?
Would be nice to have options in VEAI how audio is compressed and in which format.
Actually I thought “Keep audio” means direct stream copy without any recompression…
The bit rate it just low, I don’t think I’ve ever used a program that isn’t a dedicated video editor that keeps the audio perfectly. I suggest linking the original audio in post production for best results.
