Lose internet during long queue, wake up & videos have watermark - normal?

I’ve been using an older computer to run Topaz Video AI on, and I just leave it chugging along while I use my main computer for other stuff. TVAI activates itself over the internet when I open it, and I can set the queue up and start it, but if it loses internet connection after it’s open while it’s processing, everything in the queue will come out with watermarks over the video.

That’s really frustrating when I’ve paid for the software, and also I go check on 24+ hours of processing to find useless watermarked videos.

Is this a bug or a feature?

It’s a bug. It may be how Topaz designed it to work, but from a customer’s PoV, it’s a design bug. No app should revert successful authentication just because web access dropped out.

Yeah, agree. I mean I get it if it needs to connect once a week to activate, even if it needs to connect every time you start it (Although I think that’s douchey) but dropping activated status while running is pretty objectionable.
