Still a Newbie here, 1 week in. I am not sure if its best to use TVAI before I edit in Premier or after. So far, I’ve done it after and its causing some issues. In one sense, I can see where stabilizing, slowing down or upscaling should be done ahead of time, but of course that takes so much time. On the other hand, I can see using this as the final step. Any help on best practices wold be appreciated.
This is a tough question to give a clear answer on because it depends on the footage you are working with. It also depends on what filter(s) you are using in TVAI and what other edits you are wanting to make with Premiere.
I would not say that there is a “best” workflow and you may need to try a few different scenarios to find the one that works best for you.
