I always do 2-second previews before starting full processing. In Topaz Video AI v7.x, it takes about 2 seconds before the preview starts processing and the FPS is showing >0. In Topaz Video (with all 1.x versions) it takes almost a full minute, during which time it shows 0s 0fps. Finally after close to a minute, it starts processing. And for a 2-second preview, it doesn’t take long to finish of course - much less than the time it takes to start.
Waiting almost a minute for a 2 second preview to start processing in Topaz Video seems like something is wrong. Topaz Video AI v7 takes a couple seconds. I thought it might be taking time to download and load the model, but it happens for 2nd and subsequent previews in the same timeline.
Also I have cloud processing disabled, so the delay isn’t related to uploading to the cloud.
Is anyone else here seeing this behavior? Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
