Long standing issue with Topaz Photo pinned Taskbar icon in Windows 11

Hello there, I know this is a silly little thing but seems like something you guys could easily fix. I use this app so often I have it pinned to the task bar across the bottom of Windows. Every time I install a new update for Topaz Photo the icon turns into a white placeholder icon and I have to remove the old one and re-pin the new version, presumably because Windows no longer recognizes it as the same program or something along those lines. It isn’t an issue with any specific computer it does this on any Windows 11 computer. I use a lot of different software programs that I keep pinned in this way and Topaz Photo is the only one that behaves this way after an app update so I know there is a way to fix it so the pin and icon persist after an update and if you could fix it I would be oh so extremely grateful. Cheers and Thank You for any consideration!

Hi Clay.

I haven’t got a solution for you but, was wondering if you update the Topaz Photo from within the app because, I updated a fresh from the Topaz Photo release page and my icon remains on the taskbar

I know it probably won’t help but, certainly worth a try

Funny, I’ve got the same problem with Topaz Video. - BTW: I perform all updates within the apps.
