I’ve noticed in the benchmarks that there are many instances where the speed of 2x upscaling of SD video using Artemis or Proteus is significantly faster than real time. It might not be generally well known, but it’s possible in that case to view the export in real time instead of waiting for it to finish, if the output file is MKV and it’s opened with VLC. However, my idea is to make network streaming an option within the UI. The streaming functionality is already there in ffmpeg (so can already be done using the CLI) but it would be much nicer to have a more user-friendly method. So drag an SD source into TVAI and then watch the 2x upscale on your TV within a few seconds.
