Lifetime license not letting me use the older installed version

Same issue as reported by others

Mac OS Sequoia version 15.5

{image removed to hide user email}

It lets me login and recognises me, but dialog box then states “Version not Owned. License expired and this version is above your latest version”. But when I look at the version I have installed (6.2) , it is much older than the latest version (15.5), so why cant I use my old installed version. I have no similar issues with other Topaz applications, just Topaz Video AI.

Hi.

Look again it states you own version 5.5.1 not 15.5 besides, there is no 15.5 the current version is 7.0.1 therefore, version 6 is above version 5 and that’s why you have the options to either Download 5.5.1 or Renew your License

There haven’t been any Lifetime Licenses since 2020 please, explain unless you mean the version you own which, you can continue using after your Licence has expired.

Hope this helps

15.5 is MacOS Sequoia :wink:

The last version of the app that your license is linked to would be 5.5.1, if you want to use anything newer than that you would need to purchase an upgrade renewal plan from the product pricing page.

That would add another year of upgrade coverage to your account and allow you to use the latest version with your license.

If you have any further questions, you can email the support team directly at help@topazlabs.com and we can assist further.

Thanks all for your responses. All working now. I have uninstalled 6.2 and reinstalled my older licenced version 5.5.1 and all works. I havent used it for some time and shouldn’t have clicked the updates button. Will know now for future use.
