Licence issue

Hi Topaz Labs,

When using Video AI 1.2.x, I noticed that after few hours without Internet connection, the application “thinks” you are out of licence!

Usually, it happens during night when I shut down my Internet connection.

Anyway in France, most of Internet providers are using dynamic IP for their customers.

The IP is negogiated for instance everyday at 3 o’clock in the morning and reset the connection.

That is one reason why I shut down my connection.

When I come back in the morning, the renderings I launched the previous for processing by night are finished, but I have a new subscription panel asking me to buy a plan, instead of getting back my GUI even if the Internet connection is working again.

That is quite disturbing.

So every morning, I have to quit the application without saving the project, then launch the application so it can contact the authorization server, then give me back full access to Video AI.

Everyday same thing!

If it was possible to fix that, it could be nice for people using a dynamic IP address given by the provider.

Yours sincerely, Vincent.

This is an issue that is being resolved as the auth tokens were set up for a shorter refresh window than previously done. The devs are reverting back to the longer window to allow users to stay offline for longer periods of time. This should be rolled in out the next update.

Vincent, please update to 1.2.1 and let me know if the behavior is still seen.
