Legislative Palace center spike - Montevideo Uruguay 1926

our Legislative Palace, still standing and gorgeous. in the picture one of the marble hand carved (imported from france) central spikes with “atlantean women’s” designs. the construction of this building started on 1908 and was fully finished by 1964. it was so expensive the country fell into a financial default because of it. internally and externally covered in the finest marble stones. floors, walls, columns and even the ceilings covered in gigantic layers of different colors of marble.
anyways this picture i managed to restore it (original is small and very damaged by time itself) about 1926 near the original 1928 public inauguration and start to function as a legislative palace.
used Denoise AI then Gigapixel AI
