Launching from shell causes security issue and virus check

When I attempt to right click on an image and launch Topaz Photo AI with the Windows 11 shell, it now pops up Windows Security app and offers to scan. Completed scan does not fix the issue and I have to instead, manually launch Topaz Photo AI and then drill down to or drag and drop the image. Not the end of the world but the shell method has always worked before.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2
  3. Step 3

Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac]

Try this and see if it help.

Thanks, since it’s not a file and not a folder that is causing the issue, the only other thing I can exclude is a process. So I put in the full path name"
“C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Photo AI\Topaz Photo AI.exe”

Didn’t make a difference. I have now selected the “always open with” status for Photo AI and if I double click on the jpg it now opens Photo AI, if I try using the right click open with command it still gives me the security alert and scan. Mystifying to me.
