Latest version of Topaz AI 2.0 not saving the photo file to Lightroom

[Please describe your issue here. Try to include logs (Help → Logging) and add screenshots if necessary.]

Steps to reproduce issue:

I use Mac and Adobe Lightroom classic latest software versions. I transfer the photos directly from Lightroom classic through File> Plug-in Extra> Process with Topaz photo AI. After correcting the photo I proceed to save to Adobe Lightroom, unfortunately the photo doesn’t save at all. So no file is saved after processing the image through Topaz AI 2.0.0

Please provide solution ASAP

Thanks for reaching out. Please update to v2.0.1 and let me know if you are still seeing this issue.

If you are, open Topaz Photo AI, go to the menu bar on the top and click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option. Attach the logs to your reply so I can check the contents.

Hi Lingyu
The problem is persistent even after re-installing the update v2.0. I follow your instructions. Find below all the files I found under the Log Folder.

Please HELP

Thanks, Ruben

Thanks for sending the logs. In our email conversation I figured out that you were working from a collection in Lightroom Classic.

The File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI currently does not add images back to a collection. This is a feature we can add in the near future.

For now, you can find the file in the same folder as the original image.

I did locate the original RAW file on my external drive, however, the corrected Topaz image was not saved. What can then?

Is this file stored on your computer drive, on an external drive, or on a network drive?

Hi Lingyu
Sorry but I inadvertently deleted the email you sent me with respect to saving corrected AI photos to Lightroom. Unfortunately, the procedure you indicated did not work. You mentioned sending me specific instructions to delete the recent AI version 2.1.2 and re-installing a new program so that I can save the corrected photo appropriately.
Following your instructions: Photo>Edit in>Topaz Photo AI; will save the photos as TIF file. However, in order to maximize RAW image quality, Topaz instructions requires to correct file as follow: File>Plug-in Extras>Topaz Photo AI. Unfortunately the recommended procedure does not save the corrected photos to Lightroom.

I have attached several screenshots so that you can see the procedure I followed.
Please provide further instruction to save images to Lightroom classic.

Thank you very much
