Last Flight of Curlew

The first image is one I shot back in 2006 of a flock of Curlew over Snettisham Beach in Norfolk. We wanted to replace a large wall image 20 x 30 in, and thought this would make a good image.

The original was taken on an FZ30 with 2400 by 3200 pixels, and was a little shaky as the birds were moving quite quickly across the sky.

So I used Sharpen AI with the stabilizer to clean that up and tried out GigaPixel to take the image up to 14400 x 19200. Cleaned up the halo effects produced, by the two programs and then used Texture FX to get the final image which was cropped to a 5 x 7 ratio.
