[KNOWN ISSUE: MAC OS 15 CRASH] - Steps to solve this here

Can you confirm you foind the coreML folder and deleted it? Test the stanadlone once that is done. The standalone will have to work normally for the plugin to.

make sure to check the post at top of this page, and to do the core ML deletion steps

Worked for me for both recover face and super focus. Thanks

The only reason I waited 24 hours is because I wanted to check my work - I followed the instructions, I could verify all the other file photos as represented on the forum page and I found no ML Cache. See attachment

You are most likely not in the correct place. Make sure to check the steps at the top post of this page. Any computer that has Photo AI will have a coreML folder when in the correct Application Support folder. There is 2, make sure to check the you are in the correct one.

I have the same crashing problem, but there is no CoreML Cache folder in my ~/Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs folder.

I am looking at the correct folder because there is no other Topaz Labs folder in any other Application Support folder on my Mac.

Hello @tmil That would not be the correct Application Support folder. Make sure to be on the tilde one. instead of tilde, you can also go in Macintosh HD > then on the folder with your computer’s username, then that will show the correct Application folder. The tilde sign replaces Macintosh HD and username computer name part.

I found the coreML folder after reading additional details / actually adding the tilda when going to Application support. I confirm that the software works now. Thank you for your help, much appreciated!

Topaz crashes seconds after opening
Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2
  3. Step 3

Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac]

Are you on MacOS Sequioa?

yes, sequoia 15.1.1

Then likely deleting the CoreML cache will fix the crash.

Ok, I found it. It’s not in the Topaz folder. It’s one level up in the Application Support directory.
