Trying to set Redefine Creativity Level for a group of images, the App doesn’t keep the level set, so for example if you set medium for image 1, then medium for image 2, then if you check back for image 1 the level is set to Low, same situation if you go to check images 2.
Using the redefine creative with multiple images, the creativity level reset to “low” when switching between images, which cause a recalculation of the effect (on the first switch)
Windows 8.4.1
Rather more strangely inconsistent on my Windows 10 PC …
I set up a group of 3 small <1024px jpg online images with AutoP and creativity artistic Low, Med and High respectively each with a short different Text Prompt and all at x2 upscale.
On the first cycle they all rendered according to their individual settings correctly but AFTER the group render ALL creativity settings had been reset to Low - the setting of the 1st image in the Group.
Trying to set individual creativity levels for a 2nd group run proved to be impossible. Any attempt at choosing a higher level was immediately reset in the Group list to level Low. Weird.
I was pleasantly surprised that the individual Text Prompts were retained actually. For me the Topaz Group (batch) rendering process has been poorly implemented from the beginning and still falls way short of other software batching both for features and reliability.
I virtually always use the Topaz products in stand alone mode and render individual images to make use of the rudimentary prefix- & -suffix file naming options which although manual and clumsy do at least allow some settings info to be saved with the rendered image.
I do find the current Group batching useful when starting tests on a new subject with a collection of similar small online jpgs. Then I will set up with maybe Redefine Realistic Subtle or Artistic Med Texture 3 to get an overall feel for which images are going to be worth more tweaking. An initial Group run usually identifies at least 2~3 that can be culled and 3~4 that should be prioritised for finer adjustment settings.
I noticed, i can click “medium” for the creativity enter the prompt, then also tells me the adjusted estimate if I use the cloud render, compared to the “low” which was slighly quicker, then I move to the next image, click “medium” also , enter the prompt, when I go back to the previous image, the selection is on “low”?.. doesnt seem to “stay on the selection” that you press once leaving the image? now IM unsure which setting it has used to render it?
