Source videos in the MKV container are failing when using the Starlight Precise 2.5 model.
Workaround
Converting your input using Handbrake and then re-import the converted version back into the app for processing.
Here are the steps to convert it in the handbrake app:
- Drag and drop your video to import it
- I recommend going to the “dimensions” tab and under “resolution limit” > none
- I also recommend going to the “video” tab and under “framerate (FPS)” > Same as source
- Then click “start”
This will ensure that it retains the original resolution and frame rate with the converted file.

it works ,many many thanx
All of my moives were in mkv. I swapped the clip to .mp4, the SLP2.5 worked, Neuroserver only used 10GB of system mem.
The time estimate and frame rate are very wrong

Confirmed…moving to MP4 containers got SL Precise working. Still no joy for SL Sharp.
Moreover, I had to re-encode some of my mp4 material to AppleProRes MXF to prevent from Topaz oferflowing my RAM and pagefile.
